"These pictures show the outside walls and the fireplace coming down. What a mess! I was so ready to be rid of the last of the ashes & soot & charred wood.Tho' I hated for the fireplace to come down. I wanted to keep it and David didn't. Since I didn't know where it would be in relation to the wall of the dome, I deferred to David. Later when I put up the cans to see exactly where the dome was going to sit, the fireplace wasn't out in the middle of the room like David said it would be. We could have put a closet or something in the space between the fireplace and the wall.
